Essential Oils for Allergy Relief!
Allergies suck! Down here in the South, we just know it’s coming and just live with it. However, I’ve spoken with many who say they are on a daily dose of some sort of medicine to help combat their symptoms and obtain relief. That’s not an option for me! I don’t want to be dependent on any medicine unless I absolutely NEED it to live. So, like many others, my family and I deal with seasonal allergies as they come. We drink a lot of water, try to eat healthy, change the AC filter, try not to track in pollen, take our vitamins, etc… But now, we are also using an essential oil blend just for allergies from Spark Naturals…and my wife swears by it!
This last season she went through a 15ml bottle! She believes in it so much that she has been sharing it with allergy suffers at work. She recently told me a funny story about putting some Spark Naturals L.L.P. Allergy Blend on a co-worker.
She was in her office at the beginning of the day and was putting some on a co-worker, we normally put some on the back of our neck, forehead and on our cheeks, on the side of our nose (this makes my eyes burn just a little so I try to put mine lower). She was putting the EO on her co-workers forehead when her boss walked in.
A little background… Her boss knows that we are Christians and that I’m a minister. I actually officiated the wedding for one of her daughters. When she walked in, my wife thought that she could have mistaken what she was doing for “laying on of hands” and praying for this co-worker. My wife let her know that she was just putting on some allergy relief! I think the boss took a hit too! Anyway, it must have been a funny looking scene.
Well, since my wife has become the “Patron Saint of Allergy Relief,” I’ve had to purchase and stock-up on more bottles of “the stuff!” I don’t want to run out down here in Allergy Country!
If you are a little skeptical of Essential Oils and how effective they are, I would recommend just buying a small 5ml bottle. The small bottle only costs $8 and if it works for you, it will be well worth it!
The Spark Naturals L.L.P. Allergy Blend is “a blend of Lavender, Lemon and Peppermint CP PharmaGrade essential oils blended together to create an all-natural antihistamine.”*
